OTIS Y POET

Gesture. Ritual. Body’s Movement.

Otis Y Poet works in silence, gesture, and breath. His lines are not designs — they are movements recorded in real time. Every work begins before the hand touches the skin: in attention, in presence, in the body.

Otis draws with the whole body. The wrist is only the final point of contact. The movement begins in the spine, travels through the shoulder, and lands as a single, unrepeatable gesture.

His practice includes:

Freehand

Freemachine

Abstract Gesture

Brushstroke Flow

Body-led Movement

Silent Mapping

A tattoo is not placed on the body — it is revealed from it.

The body is a landscape. The line is a trace of breath. Every mark is a relationship, a ritual between artist and body.

Before every work, there is silence. Before every line, there is observation. Before every gesture, there is a ritual of entering the body.

Otis listens to tension, softness, rhythm, and breath. The final work is a conversation without words.

Gesture.
Mapping.
Gesture.

A line cannot be repeated.

The body, the breath, the moment —

never the same again.
